awesome picture

I found this picture I loved it so I had Josh twick the bagdes the one that says "Elder Rasmussen" at one time said "Elder Morgan" the one that now says "Elder Fowlks" said " Elder Mangelson and the rest of the writing was in spanish. So Josh made it personal so I made two 5x7 picture one for each of them and I am sending them to the two of them. Thank you Josh you are awesome!

Go Bring them in

We had an awesome experience on our trek. We was up near part of the Grand Canyon you can see that in the bottom pictures. Wow what the pioneers did for us. We only felt a small tidbit of what they must have gone through. I will tell you that it was soooo nice to get home and get a shower and a big glass of ice water. Three days of drinking warm water was enough. I needed my ice water. I came home with a few blisters and sore calves but if I was asked to do it again I would jump at the chance. We walked 15 miles in 2 1/2 days up and down and on flat dirt trails or roads. Ate corn meal mush for breakfast and jerky, apple, roll, cheese for lunch and veg. stew for dinner it was great. I knew I had a wonderful home to come home to, but our ancestors had no idea what to expect. All in all it was a great experience for all involved.

Well I'm finally getting around to post Sharises 16th birthday picture. Sweet 16. She took her driving test at 7:00 in the morning yesterday and past her test so we had to drive right to the DMV and she got her drivers license so now I am no longer the Fowlks taxi cab wahoooooooo! By the way do you think she has changed in a year?

It is always fun to get picture from Daniel to see what he is up to. I thought I would share them with you in our little blogging world. He looks like he is having a good time. I haven't heard yet how he likes GA. I want you to notice how clean their APT. is wow miracles to happen. Looks like he and his companions have a nice car. I love the street sign.

Kolob

On Memorial Day we went to our friends Cabin in Kolob. It is beautiful up there. It was nice and cool there we were able to get a break from the heat for a couple of hours. Thanks Smith for the fun time at your cabin.
