This was our great Homecoming with Elder Fowlks. It was so great to see him and hug and kiss him. Two years is a long time. But we are happy he is home with us again. And hope that he will adjust well. There was another Elder and a Sister Missionary that was on the plane with him so the airport was pretty full of lost of family for these missionaries. It was great his nieces and nephews all hugged him and knew who he was. I have to say that those Daniel Dolls that I made helped them to know him when he returned. Love ya Bud!!!!!

TODAY

Today is the day I can't wait to see him! This has been my morning ritual every morning to place a sticker on the Temple. Now for two years it is so hard to believe it has been that long it has gone by fast. Details of his homecoming to come.

Weeping, Wailing and Gnashing of Teeth

Weeping
Wailing

Gnashing of Teeth
OK, so I said the last pictures would be the last post of Elder Fowlks, but I did put a maybe next to it. I just thought I would share these funny pictures of him. He sent these to his dad by email on Monday. Daniel said this is what he did when he received his itenerary. I am sure he feels this way. His mission has been such a big part of his life the last two years, or I should say it has been his life. But I also know he is excited to get home and get on with the next phase of his life. He has served well he has become strong in the gospel and his testimony has gronw so much. Not to say how he left a young man and is returning a MAN. (where did little Danny boy go?) We are very proud of hime and he will RWH (return with honor) We can't wait to see you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

This picture is the one he sent to me and captioned it
"Receiving my call to my new area."

Here is our Easter weekend, we had a great time spending Easter with Desirae and her family. Josh is very seldom in any pictures because he is usually downstairs doing his own thing. We did get a few pictures of him though. We did our Easter egg hunt in Desirae's house because it was raining outside. Later we colored eggs and the top picture is before we went to church.

My last Elder Fowlks post (maybe) with his email on Mar. 30th came these fun pictures. He went hiking and to a Amish town near Helen GA. It sounded like he had a great time. I am glad that he is able to take some time to see the area there before he comes home. Right now I am anxiously waiting for his flight time paper to come in the mail. I have to tell you a dream I had about his home coming. Dreams are very weird I would love to be able to interpret dreams,
all I know right now is that he will be leaving GA at 8:00 am My dream, all the family was here for his return and we had not received his flight times so we were just guessing as to when he would be getting into St. George. So we decided as a family to go somewhere and wait for that time to come. We were all out having a great time, and for some reason Sharise called home (mind you we were all gone) but when she called Daniel answered the phone. Sharise told me Daniel was home. Next scene in the dream was that I walked into our house (but it was my moms basement bedroom with the built in beds that are no longer there.) He was sleeping, I was in tears I went towards him and he woke up and I grab him and held him, still crying. I said you were leaving GA at 8:00 this morning. He said "no mom I arrived at 8:00 in the morning." It was not a fun dream I actually woke up crying. And I was never so happy that my bladder had woke me up. The dream was so real. It bothered me all morning long. I REALLY need to get those flight times. :/
