Happy Birthday to Daniel (alittle late) and January goings on

January started off with Sharise getting her wisdom teeth out. This blissfull event happened on the 6th of Jan. She chose to go in around 1o so she could sleep in. It all went really well I am sure most have seen her funny video that she posted on FB. I have to say she was actually the funniest out of the 6, the other girls just cried and Daniel was just very quiet and slept most of the time. But Sharise, she would not stop talking. She kept saying "i'm with it." She thought she was all normal and acting fine. We will let her think that we have video to prove otherwise. :) I promised I wouln't post the picture of her dhipmuck cheeks. So I will be a dutiful mom and not post it. Wed night when she got home for the day she came in and said that something felt weird with the right side. Looked couldn't see anything, Thursday morning when she was getting ready for school I walked into her bedroom to talk to her and low and behold her right jaw was swollen again. Two weeks after the fact. So I called the Dr. and she went in between classes and the Dr. said, sometimes people will heal from the top down instead of the bottom up and that is what she did. There was junk trapped in there and so he opened the flap and srapped it out, I will have to say she was big and brave she did this with out a shot of any kind and she didn't even pass out almost but not quite. Today still al little sore but hopefully it will get better soon.

Then on the 18th, well I should say the 16th we celebrated Daniels Birthday sunday. We had dinner and then he had his favorite cake and we bought his favorite ice cream pink bubble gum)

I also have to explain the poor looking cake. I decieded I would do a chocolate cake from scratch new recipe bad idea. because it never holds up very good so it was little hard to frost and it looked like a cake out of Who Ville but oh well it did taste good who cares about the looks anyway?
Ok I have to explain this picture above. I went out and got all the blankets and sweaters and hats that were Daniels. The hat that is on his head had a sweater to go with it and I didn't ever put it on him as a baby becuase it seemed a little girly to me. The blanket that is on him is one that his great grandma Carpenter crocheted for him when he was born. Relaxing after cake and ice cream.
Haiven was waiting for the bubble gum ice cream. :) Ok and as for the candles, well I thought I had some downstairs but come to find out I keep buying cupcake papers instead of candles so I have tons of those but no candles, so all I had was matches so we put 5 on to represent 5 years but one stick was minus 2 for 23 years. We lite them and he had to blow fast becuase as you know they don't stay lite very long. Then on top of the bad cake and no candles I forgot to give him his birthday money. It really stinks getting old and having all my organizational skills go out the door with each of my kids. Sorry Sharise I don't know that I have any left for you. I will try really hard to muster some up before you leave so I can give you some. Anyway Love ya Daniel I hope you had a good birthday I know the best present ever was your cute little Haiven coming into your family.
As for the rest of the month I will Grandpa and I will be watching Logan, Raylie and Lucas tonight and tomorrow so that Brittany and Josh can spend a night away for their anniversary which was on the 18th as well. Then they will be going to the Temple with Joshs sister on Sat.
Then on Wed Brittany will be having a little procedure so will be watching the cuties again. Then Thurs the Ogdens will be coming for little Haivens blessing on Sunday. Busy week really excited to see our Murray family. Will post pictures of Haivens blessing later. That sums up the month of Januray.

Baby Haiven entered our Family

Love this precious little girl who entered our family on Dec 31st. You can so feel the presence of our Heavenly Father when you hold a new born baby. We are so blessed to have this cute little family in our big family. Haiven is # 10 for us and we love her as we love our other 9. They all are special little spirits with their own little personalities.

2010 Christmas in a nutshell

These cute little feet are the cute feet of the Ogden, Isom and Mclane children, this is what grandma was busy doing before Christmas. They each recieved slippers stuffed with a few $1 bills. I made over 20 slippers for Christmas this year and still going. They work up fast and are really fun to make. I picked up Raylie one day while Brit was at work, to give Josh a little break from the out of school fighting that goes on. She helped me make chocolate chews (cookies) this was here favorite part about helping. :)
Christmas Eve, this was who was attending, it was small but we had a great time, dinner and opening gifts. Sharise had to work in the morning so she had her whole Christmas on Christmas Eve.

So the tradition is to recieve new jamie bottoms and this is the only top she could find to match her new jamies. Designer Jamies I would say.
Dan and Chan getting in the mood for a night of Karaoke and Just dancing 2 (Wii game)
Cute kids, and that cute little baby bump can you believe she is just 21/2 weeks away from delievering cute little Haiven
Crazy faces, thanks to Dan having the camara.
Christmas Morning after skyping with Danette's family (so fun) we decieded to stay up and open presents.
Chantelle gave Daniel 3 cartons of Shwans Ice Cream for Christmas which were in our freezer.Popcorn that I labeled and sealed for Ron for Christmas, we have movie popcorn now.
Elsha, I finally found this a few years ago this is the cologne that Ron would wear when we dated OHHHHHH so many years ago!!!!!!!
What to do now, the packages all open, at this point we were thinking that a nap would be just the thing to do. But first I wanted to skype with the Ogden family. Dan and Chan did not make it though they hit the sack before we got on skype. Oh and Garfield or G2 was loving the boxes and paper on the floor.

Ready or Not

Here it is Christmas Eve, is everyone ready? I can't believe how fast this year whizzed by. I am personally praying that 2011 will be alittle bit different year. 2009 and 2010 have been two years that have been exciting in a different kinda way. With trials that come and life in general that just happens, I pray that we can all remember who we can turn to for real comfort! Our Savior Jesus Christ who was born in meager circumstances, and who died that we may all live!
I am wishing *YOU* my family and friends a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Thanksgiving Day

My pictures are not in order of the day but I was to lazy to put the brain power into getting them in order so I can just explain each one. But first I would just like to tell my family that I love them and it was so nice having them all together here for Thanksgiving, minus the Mclane family who celebrated in TX this year. We missed having them here. It was fun having my mom here with us. It is just the second Thanksgiving without having my dad physically here with us, he was missed! Wednesday when Desirae and family arrived, this were put away and then Mark set off making the pies (you will see a pic below) he worked very diligently in get those yummy pies ready for the big day. Thanksgiving Day was pretty laid back, they Turkey pretty well took care of itself cooking, with the help of the roaster pan. Yams were cooked, the potatoes, Brittany brought the fruit salad, Dan and Chan stuffed the celery. It was ready to go by 1:00. We enjoyed everyone's company and gobbled up the food. You will see the after affect below. I am very thankful for my wonderful family, my blessings are abundant. Friday we all went to the movie " Tangled" it was a very cute movie. One of the better ones I thought. Saturday morning we finished with going to the Temple taking mom for her second time through. It is so wonderful sitting next to Mom in the Temple. I love it!!!!!!!!!! I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well.

The two pictures above are the triptophan? setting in. Notice the adults. The kids still had a little energy left in them.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect upon the bountiest blessings that we all have. I have the most wonderful parents. (both sets) I have a husband that has always worked very hard for his wife and family. I have 5 of the most wonderful children and 4 of them have married the most wonderful spouses. I have been blessed with 9 (almost 10) of the greatest grandchildren a grandma could ever ask for. We have the most important thing in our life's and that is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the HOPE of being an eternal family.
Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. (pictures to come)
