Things on my mind right now. First today marks the 2 year mark of Dad passing away. It is always alittle sad when this time rolls around. This year was much easier than last and I am sure it continues to get easier. It was great being in SLC with my mom this year. And another thing that made it a much better day is Josh our first grandson was ordained to the priesthood today, he turned 12 a few days ago so made this day much easier for me. Thank you Josh!!!!!!!!!!
We were crazy and didn't get any pictures today both Des and I thought about it but then it was a very short lived thought because we both forgot. That can be scary!!!!
I guess I am getting used to Sharise not being here. I know that she was not around much before but we did meet in the middle sometimes. But I know this is what she needs right now and I admire her for going after what she is wanting right now. Love ya Sharise!!! (thank you Danette and Chad for helping her spread her wings) :)
Life can be pretty bumpy sometimes and not really go as expected, I am so thankful to have the gospel in my life. I know that when the bumps get to hard to handel, I can lean on the Savior for help to get me through.
And that is what is on my mind.

Family Fun in June
So excited for this week to come. Our Texas family and SLC family all arrived safely. Danette made it here on the 18th and we had some fun days at a couple parks, Jones Ranch, The Temple, lunches and boating. When Des arrived on late on the 22nd.
Ladies night out Photo shoot.
The ending of this great week we said goodbye to Sharise who is driving back to Texas to stay for a month. Then if all works out she will leave from Texas to head to Germany to nanny for 6 months to a year. I can't tell you how hard it was saying goodbye, with each child that leaves to start their lives, it is hard but I think that when that last one goes, it is alittle different. This empty nest thing is not all it is cracked up to be, I am sure I will get used to it in time but for now there is some adjustment. We love you Sharise and wish you the best in your journey, it is a great opportunity.
Thursday morning we went to the Antigravity Arena and lunch at the park.
Friday morning was Family Photo time and then the afternoon at the lake, with water skiing, tubing and wave running. I will add that not to many sunburns, but we did come away with one sprained ankle, so no ice skating for our little Emma for a few weeks. Thank you to the Mclanes for dragging their boat all the way from Texas, we had a great time on the lake.
Saturday was craft day with the kids and the the ladies did a fun craft. Saturday night was girls night out first Dinner, then a short stop at Old Navy and then to the Red Hill for a photo shoot.
First Day on the Lake
Girls Camp 2011
OK so for all of you girls out there that went to girls camp many years ago and had to set up all the awnings and tents and the screen tent, this is for you now all we have to do is lay out our bedding and we are off having fun at girls camp. Though they look a bit like a concentration camp it was great not having to set up all that stuff. We had a great time at camp this year, the weather was great, the snow was gone we just had a little mud, not to bad!!!!!

The month of June
The month of June is to remember our Fathers, and the special people they are in our lives. We always take them for granted until they are no longer here with us. Then we think of the times that we could have spent more time with them. Or the times we could have told them that we loved them. Happy Fathers Day to my Dad coming up on the 19th.
The rest of the month.............. loving having the Ogden kids here to spend time with them, they have been good kids while Grandma is busily getting ready for Girls Camp next week. They have had fun with their Isom cousins, and doing fun things, swimming, Red Cliffs, movie and maybe more swimming tomorrow. Then Stake Conference on Sunday and meeting up with mom and dad Ogden in Fillmore after conference.
Wednesday heading off to Cedar Mountain for girls camp. Please pray for us that it will be warm, I do not like the cold. The snow just barely melted up there, still in the shady spots. I think I am getting to old for this. I will let you know after camp.
Then when camp is over the Mclane fam will be here so excited, and the Ogden fam will be joining us at the end of the month, which I know I have mentioned a couple of post ago but I am excited can you tell.
I also have to mention on the 8th of June Ron and I celebrated our 35th Anniversary. We went to dinner and to the Temple, it was a great night. A shout out to Sharise for staying here with the Kids, she played games, painted nails, and popped corn, with the exception of Josh he played the Wii, no painted nails for him. :)
Again Happy Fathers Day to all those wonderful Fathers out there especially My Dad, to Ron, Mark, Josh, Chad and Daniel. These men are very special Daddy's in my life. I love you all!!!!!!

HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY SHARISE!!!!!!!
Here is the cake, thought Texas was perfect for both, Josh served his mission in San Antonio and Sharise will be going there. Love you both.
Opening presents
Seriously how did my baby get to be 20 years old? We celebrated her birthday on Sunday along with Big Josh because his birthday is tomorrow. So we had birthday dinner and cake and ice cream Sunday evening.
Sharise is ready to move on in life, meaning she will be leaving the end of the month to drive back to Texas with Danette and Chad, she is ready for an adventure. As for me I am personally glad that she will be heading off to Texas rather than Germany. Even though that would be a great experience for her, just more comforting to me to know she is in the United States. She has always been a bright spot in our lives, her older sisters and brother have always taken good care of her as she grew, very protective of her.
Sharise has many good quailities, she loves to be around people, she is caring and kind, she loves her neices and nephews very much, saying that her syblings took all the cute kids and what will that leave her with? Which I think is funny because hers will be just as cute and loveable.
She has always been very active, I know I have said this before but she was in a hurry to get here coming just a week before her due date and she hasn't stopped. She was very small at birth wieghing in at 6lb 2oz, we even dressed her in cabbage patch clothes the first few days because she was so small.
Her family loves her very much!!!!!
We will miss her when she is gone. (except for Danette and Chad)
Love you Sharicee Pooh

June Already!!!!
Here it is June already and since our Georgia trip I have just been getting ready for girls camp, which will be coming up on the 15th of June. Ron has been quite busy with the Fencing (Whoot Whoot) getting alittle better each year. This next week I will be having the Ogden Kidos here for a week while Des and Mark go on their Trek. It will be fun having them here, last year we had them in July and they really decieded they did not like the hot weather here so this week will be good for them. I actually think they are looking forward to some good weather. Getting excited for the end of the month when we will have the whole family together for a few days. A little Ron Fowlks Jr. family reunion and I am so excited to have everyone here. The house will be busting at the seems, but it (the house) and I miss having it bust at the seems so it will be good. I will post picture after each event. I will be posting birthday pictures of Sharise. How did my baby get to be 20 years old, that is a cruel thing to have happen. BRING ON THE FUN MONTH OF JUNE :)

Trip to Georgia
First of all can I just say how amazing it was to go back to Georgia where Daniel served his mission (2007-2009) and meet some of the people that he helped and that helped him. The pictures below are some of those people the upper left corner pic is his mission Pres. and family who will be leaving the end of June. It was so great meeting them. They are awesome people. Sis King was a newscaster for a SLC station, she retired when Pres. King was called to Georgia. The single women holding Haiven has an amazing story I wish she would write her story and publish it. It brought tears to my eyes I held them back really good until we got out in the car and then I let them flow. The lower bottom middle is a member but he was/is the taxi driver for the missionaries. Wonderful man. The lower left is a pic of a member who open her house to us the last two days Thank you so much Sis Moran!!!!!!!!!! They each have a great story behind them it would take way to long to type all of their stories.
The pics below are the many face of little Haiven she was a trooper, she was really thrown off her schedule. She found her feet on this vacation and had fun playing with them. She was very well loved there in GA by anyone who say her.
This is Helen GA a little German town. We stayed in a condo here. It was a fun little place.
We took the fun opportunity to go to Babyland General (where the cabbage patch dolls originated) it was a fun 1/2 hour. We watched the birth of a little boy upper right pic, notice blond hair blue eyes, she asked for suggestions to name this little guy. We started saying some names and she wasn't to thrilled with any until we said Jonathon Daniel in which she liked. So this little guy was named after Daniel. You can see in the pic below that she let me hold him. I thought how fun that would be to buy this little man because of the name and he looked like Daniel when he was little. Well I asked how much he was and she said "He is $225.00" I just about dropped the little guy, but I gently handed him back to her.
This is Ana Ruby Falls. Beautiful place!!!!!
This was our last day there, we went to Stone Mountain. Awesome place. I have over 2 hundred pictures on this trip, these are just a few. Again I have to say what an awesome experience it was visiting GA and meeting these many wonderful people in Daniels life. And hearing many stories of his mission.
