Atlanta Georgia North Mission

It is official now, Elder Fowlks will be serving in the Atlanta Georgia North Mission. Which does not take in Atlanta, it is North of Atlanta. He was excited that it was english speaking. I am sure he will come back with a southern drawl, unlike the southern Utah one. He will be leaving for the MTC April 25th. We are excited for him and will miss him, but knowing that he is where he is supposed to be. Congratulations Daniel we love you.

It's Here

WhaaaHooo It is here. Daniel was up early this morning and left for a minute and came back with the mail. I asked him if it was here and his reply was "Yaaaa!"(very long sigh)

He will be opening it to night so we will keep you posted as to Where in the World Daniel is going!!!!! Stayed Tuned!

Happy Birthday Brittany

Celebrate

We celebrated Brittanys Desirae and Abbie birthdays. Abbie got a Cabbage Patch doll from Grandma and Grandpa Fowlks. She loved the doll. Logan is helping Brittany open her present. And I didn't get a picture of Desirae. (sorry Des.)

We had a great time and we treasure the times that we can spend with our out of towner Children (Desirae and Danette and their families.)

Visit from SLC

Desirae came down for the long week-end. Here are Raylie and Ellie who are 6 weeks apart. They are going to be good buds. My mom rode down with her to help her with the kids and so she could see the house. We also celebrated B-Days while we were together (picture to come) We had a great time.

Where in the World is Daniel going

On February 4th we had a family home evening entitled "Where in the World is Daniel going" We had family members place there names and little pins where they thought Daniel might be going. We had Desirae and Danette and their families on the web cam and had a family home evening with everyone. It was fun we had everyone choose a place. We have also had many friends and neighbors contribute. So if any of you would like to contribute to our map feel free and we will add you name. A little side note we had a Dr. Evans call last Tues. left a message on our machine with a number to contact him. (from church headquarters) Well Wed. morning I called him back. He was needing to know about Daniels migraine headaches that he has, to make a long story short Daniel answered a few questions, Dr Evans told us the things we would need to do when he recieves his call ( with meds) he told us the places that we could send his med or that he could get his type there. It was like Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Japan and parts of Europe, and of coarse the U.S. He told us that by this Friday (feb. 17) his papers would be reviewed and Mon info would go into computer and be sent out so depending on where we live he would be recieving his call Wed. or Thurs. of next week. (week of the 19th) so we are getting excited to recieve that letter in the mail. We will let you all know where he will be serving.

This was our trip to SLC when we returned home from Texas. Raylie is explaining life so far to Ellie. And Ellie is listening very carefully to her cousin
