This is our 19 year old Sammy Kitty. Yesterday I had to have her put to sleep. The first picture of her is when she was young and active, the second picture is of her Sunday night we were not to sure if she was going to make it through the night. But she did. We are thinking that she had a stroke because her back legs were not working and she was really dehydrated we are thinking something happened when we were in New Mexico. Daniel and I was with her when she left this earth life. We miss her, she has been around as long as Daniel has. 3 years ago we had to put our 16 year old Kissie Fur to sleep. Has hard as it is to do, we felt is was the right thing, but very hard to do. We will miss you Sammy!!!!!

Thanks for making me cry again! I wish I could have been there for moral support. I will miss seeing Sammy when we come down. She used to sleep in my bed with me. It won't be the same without her.
i will miss sammy so much to she used to sleep in my bed to she made me feel safe untill i got sick of fur all over my bed and ya so i kida kicked her out but she always snuck in. and every morning she would jump up on the counter to get water it was very annoying but ill miss it!!!
We just love our pets so much that they don't want to leave us!!
Sorry to hear about Sammy. I cried all day when chubby ol' McGregor died, they totally pull at your heart strings!
I never knew Sammy was a nice cat.
Quite frankly she scared me, not sure why? Maybe it was that time she hissed at me, that could have done it!
That's so sad! We had to do the same thing with Cassie a few years ago. I'm not much of an animal person, but it is still sad!
Oh poor Sammy sosa! Emma, Sammy was quite a feisty cat! I think all of us kids have scars from her attacking us at one point in time! Ah the memories, she would hide under the bed and attack your feet as you walked by. It was like you were in a horror film sometimes, never knowing if your feet would be attacked! I will miss that little samoa cookie!
I am sorry to hear about sammy! Pets really become part of the family and we never stop missing them when they die. I still miss our gregor! I think that pets should live forever!!! I guess they are in the spirit world for animals!
