First letter "Hoooray"
A little up date we recieved our first letter and oh how that helped. Elder Fowlks is doing great. He did say that the separation was harder than he thought it was going to be. But he is doing good. Likes his companion and the other two Elders rooming with them. He even said the food wasn't to bad at the MTC which I was happy to hear because he is a picky eater. I can say the letter did help my over active tears, they have seemed to dry alittle. I can even think about him now without the water works.
He's on his way
Well he is on his way. We left for SLC Tuesday morning to visit with family up there. Then Wednesday we took him to the MTC(missionary training center) at about 11:45 had time to take a few pictures and then went inside and for instruction for about 45 mins. then it was time to kiss and hug and say our good-bye's the missionaries exit out one side of the building and the families out the other. I can say it was a very hard thing to do knowing that for 2 years I wouldn't see him and could only communicate by letters, nomore calling him on his cell phone or texting him. At least I will know where he is and what he is doing, that more than I could say before he left. I never knew what he was up too! We love him and we're going to miss him but he is where he needs to be at this time.Saturday, April 21, 2007
Cutest kids in the world
Fowlks Family all together again
Saturday the 14th we had some family pictures taken because we are missing 5 family members in our previous picture so we figured it was time before Daniel leaves. We had our pictures taken at Red Cliffs and Fran took many fun pictures along with family pictures. We had a great time, we had many family members here on Sunday for Daniels farewell it was great, not to mention how nice the addition to the house was to have more space for everyone. Every one that looks at the pictures says it looks like there is kinda of a glow around me, and I tell them that I am glowing because the whole family is together, but really I don't know what it is.Thursday, April 5, 2007

Fowlks' Circus
OK so here's the scoop. It was about a month after we had moved everything into the new addition, I was going downstairs to get something and I happened to look at the wall and saw some brown stuff on the wall I looked closer and there it was evidence of a Termite! About a year ago we had the house spot treated because we had no not one kind but both kinds of termites, Subterranean and dry wall termites. We were hoping that would take care of them but it didn't so we decided to go for the big guns and get rid of them for good. So we have been living at Grandmas house in St. George since Thurs. we did get back in Sun afternoon, we couldn't smell anything but our eyes sure burned we had to leave all the fans on and the windows open all night so good thing we live in Southern Utah, we can do that. We had to double bag all our food in special bags. All the fridge food and freezer food had to be bagged and put back in the fridge or freezer. All medication, contact stuff anything you put into your body. It has been crazy but we have things put away now and are back to normal.

Good Bye Sammy

This is our 19 year old Sammy Kitty. Yesterday I had to have her put to sleep. The first picture of her is when she was young and active, the second picture is of her Sunday night we were not to sure if she was going to make it through the night. But she did. We are thinking that she had a stroke because her back legs were not working and she was really dehydrated we are thinking something happened when we were in New Mexico. Daniel and I was with her when she left this earth life. We miss her, she has been around as long as Daniel has. 3 years ago we had to put our 16 year old Kissie Fur to sleep. Has hard as it is to do, we felt is was the right thing, but very hard to do. We will miss you Sammy!!!!!
